This 4-day course to become an intacs-certified Process Expert offers a comprehensive understanding of the Automotive SPICE® v4.0 model and its associated guidelines. The training enables you to independently apply process improvements to specific topics through numerous practical exercises, preparing you to lead or contribute to a process improvement program within your organization. Additionally, this course offers deep insights into the structure and content of Automotive SPICE® assessments and prepares you in the best possible way for the intacs® certified Process Expert (Automotive SPICE® v4.0) exam. Active participation in the entire course is your key to success.

Contents

  • Presentation of the Automotive SPICE® v4.0 reference model
  • Understanding the motivations for enhancing software development processes
  • Overview of the ISO 330xx Standard series and the Automotive SPICE® v4.0 model
  • Analysis of the process dimension within the assessment model
  • Analysis of the capability dimension within the assessment model
  • Comprehensive understanding of the processes in the « recommended Assessment Scope » for system and software Levels
  • Certification as an intacs® certified Process Expert (Automotive SPICE®)

The trainer organizes the training flexibly within his time frame to respond to the participants’ special wishes and requirements. The implementation is varied, with exercises and the trainer’s various examples and experiences.

Target Group

  • Quality and project team members who must ensure that the requirements of the Automotive SPICE® process assessment model are met in the project.
  • Process owners and members of process improvement teams who need to ensure that the organization’s process landscape covers the Automotive SPICE® requirements.
  • People who are planning to become certified assessors (Note: Certification as an intacs® Certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE® is the prerequisite for taking the next step to become an intacs® Certified Provisional Assessor Automotive SPICE®).

Prerequisites

Participants should have several years of professional experience in the automotive industry (e.g. software/system development, project management, quality management, or similar).

Examination

  • Examination fees will be added to the price of participation in the examination.
  • The VDA QMC conducts the examination. Zoom software is used for online examinations, and a webcam is mandatory.
  • After a successful examination, the participant must actively apply to the VDA for certification. This additional step is carried out independently of the training.
  • The fees published on the VDA-QMC website apply for the examination and certification.

Further Information

  • The trainers for this course are exclusively experienced Automotive SPICE® Instructors who have extensive experience in conducting assessments according to Automotive SPICE®.
  • The course materials are available in English.
  • Each participant will receive documentation and a certificate of attendance.
  • The price includes a SynSpace Pocket Guide Automotive SPICE® v4.0
  • If the course is conducted online, the documents and the pocket guide will be made available digitally.
