The new process assessment model (PAM) “Automotive SPICE® for Cybersecurity” offers an extension of Automotive SPICE with six new processes. The “intacs® certified Automotive SPICE® Cybersecurity” training prepares assessors for an assessment of these new processes.

Objectives

This training introduces the model extension “Automotive SPICE® for Cybersecurity” and enables participants to apply the model extension as intacs®-certified assessors. They are enabled to expand their analysis know-how to cybersecurity and to analyze and evaluate development processes from a cybersecurity perspective. The 3-day training course prepares participants for the exam on the last day of the course.

intacs®-certified Competent and Principal Assessors who have acquired cybersecurity expertise are qualified to conduct an assessment according to Automotive SPICE®-Cybersecurity after passing the exam.

Exam preparation

 

On the afternoon of the last day of the course, the VDA will hold a multiple-choice online test. The test will be conducted in English. The regular duration of the exam is one hour. Candidates whose native language is not English will be given 50% time extension.

Training Material and Documentation

The intacs® Training for the Automotive SPICE® for Cybersecurity Model training is carried out with the aid of digital teaching materials. This includes the presentation of course content and work results in digital form. Participants will receive digital training materials and a confirmation of participation.

The intacs® Training for the Automotive SPICE® for Cybersecurity Model training is offered in the following languages:

  • available training languages: English and German
  • available language of the training material: English

Target Group & Prerequisites

This training is aimed exclusively at intacs®-certified Automotive SPICE® assessors.

The training takes place as a virtual live course. A browser and stable internet access are required.

The use of a camera is strongly recommended in order to achieve a good quality of intercommunication during the training.

After registration, you will receive an invitation to the training.

The examination is conducted as an online examination by the VDA QMC. The VDA QMC examiners monitor the examination via video using the “Zoom” video conferencing tool, i.e. participants must activate and use a webcam accordingly. Participation in the examination is not possible without the use of a webcam.

 

Pricing and other Conditions

In the event of participation in an examination, an additional € 450.00 plus VAT will be charged, which will be forwarded by SynSpace to the Certification Body VDA QMC. The official fees apply (see www.vda-qmc.de).

For registrations up to 6 weeks before the start of the training we grant an early bird discount of 10% on the training price.

Participants in this training will receive the Pocket Guide.

The Pocket Guide contains a German translation prepared by SynSpace of the contents of Automotive SPICE® V3.1, Mechanical Engineering SPICE® V1.6, Hardware Engineering PRM/PAM (HWE) V1.0 and the evaluation consistency according to the Automotive SPICE® Guidelines extended by HWE, MSE and MCE aspects.
