One of our most striking examples is the scenario-based cybersecurity training “Defend the Cyber Castle.”
Participants enter a medieval-inspired setting that represents a complex digital infrastructure — the “Cyber Fortress.”

Each team member takes on a defined role — for example as a Cybersecurity Engineer, responsible for technical defenses, or as a Task Force Manager, who has to coordinate, prioritize and make decisions under time pressure.
In real-time, participants must detect, assess, and respond to cyberattacks — from phishing attempts and ransomware to zero-day exploits. These threats are orchestrated via an interactive script that reacts to team decisions. This format doesn’t just teach content — it builds decision-making capacity, communication skills, and incident management under real-world conditions.
This training format was already successfully presented at the VDA SYS Conference 2025 — the leading European event for Quality, Safety, and Security in Automotive Software-Based Systems. It has also already been piloted with enterprise customers.
