General Terms & Conditions of Seminars

Registration

The electronic (email) registration is binding. The course costs are outlined in the course description. The maximum number of participants is given for each seminar.

Course costs

The participant receives the bill for the course costs together with the confirmation of enroll-ment. Course costs must be paid at the latest on the first day of the course. Included in the course costs are all the materials distributed during the course, as well as the usage of soft-ware, which is restricted to the duration of the course. Beverages and coffee during the course are also included. All prices are without tax.

Cancellation

Cancellation of course enrollment must be done in writing. Up to 15 working days before the start of the course, there will be no charge for cancellation. After that 50% of the course costs must be paid. If enrollment is cancelled two working days or fewer before the start of a course, the full course costs must be paid. A paying substitute course participant can be chosen at any time without increased cost.

Changes in course plan

The course leadership retains the right to cancel individual courses due to organizational circum-stances. SynSpace will not cover any costs for previously booked travel or accommodation. In this case the course costs will however of course be completely refunded. The course leadership also retains the right to exclude course participants from the course if their performance is insufficient. In this case the course costs, minus an administrative cost of 20%, will be refunded for the part of the course which was not attended. Changes in the course schedule, location, trainer as well as small changes in the course material are possible.

Responsibility

Synspace has no responsibility for damages which occur in connection with its courses. In particular, Synspace is not responsible for damages which might come about through Computer Viruses.

Publishing Rights

The complete rights for course materials and programs remain completely by SynSpace. The course participant is only allowed to use the software provided in the space provided and for the length of the course. The course participant agrees not to copy any course software or re-move it from the facility where the course is offered.
