The Automotive SPICE® Essentials training provides an overview of Automotive SPICE® and the associated processes in version 4.0.

Objectives

  • Gain a basic understanding of Automotive SPICE® Version 4.0
  • Get enabled to determine the requirements from the Automotive SPICE® Version 4.0 standard and compare them with the conditions in a development organization

Contents

The content of the Automotive SPICE® Essential Training has been compiled by long-standing Automotive SPICE® assessors and trainers and, in addition to the pure content of the standard, highlights typical misunderstandings and the practical background to the requirements:

  • Motivation and background of the process standard
  • Overview of the processes involved
  • Insights into the processes
  • Meaning of capability levels 0-5
  • Meaning and interactions of capability levels 2 and 3
  • Process assessments and their significance

Training Material and Documentation

The Automotive SPICE® Essentials training is carried out with the aid of digital teaching materials. This includes the presentation of course content and work results in digital form. Participants will receive digital training materials and a confirmation of participation.

Available Training Language

The Automotive SPICE® 4.0 – Essentials training course is offered in the following languages:

  • available training languages: English and German
  • available language of the training material: English

  • Process owners and process managers for development processes
  • Quality managers (also) in development
  • Developers involved in the development of mechatronic systems
  • Supplier quality managers who are to assess their development performance
  • Sales employees who discuss requirements with customers

 

No special prerequisites are necessary for participation in the seminar!

Technical requirements for participation in online courses

The training takes place as a virtual live course. A browser and stable internet access are required.

The use of a camera is strongly recommended in order to achieve a good quality of intercommunication during the training.

After registration, you will receive an invitation to the training.

Duration and Pricing

The Automotive SPICE® 4.0 – Essentials Training is a two-day seminar (2 x 8 hours).

For registrations up to 6 weeks before the start of training, we grant an early bird discount of 10% on the training price.
