The Automotive SPICE® 4.0 – Official Upgrade course is mandatory for all Automotive SPICE® Competent and Principal Assessors and recommended for all Provisional Assessors who want to perform assessments according to version 4.0. In addition, we recommend this course to all process owners / process managers or simply all those who are responsible in development for complying with the state of the art in the development of mechatronic systems.

Objectives

  • Gain the necessary knowledge to correctly apply the Automotive SPICE® Version 4.0 process assessment model in assessments and process improvement projects.
  • Get an overview of the changed requirements (scopes) and additional modules that have been added to Automotive SPICE® 4.0.

Contents

The content of the Automotive SPICE® – Official Upgrade Training is specified by intacs and includes at least:

  • Changes in the scopes
  • Changes in the BPs and work products (process dimension)
  • Changes in the BPs (capability dimension)
  • Interaction with the Automotive SPICE® Guidelines v4.0
  • New training and certification rules for assessors

Training Material and Documentation

The Automotive SPICE® Essentials training is carried out with the aid of digital teaching materials. This includes the presentation of course content and work results in digital form. Participants will receive digital training materials and a confirmation of participation.

Available Training Language

The Automotive SPICE® 4.0 – Essentials training course is offered in the following languages:

  • available training languages: English and German
  • available language of the training material: English

Target Group & Prerequisites

  • Mandatory for Competent and Principal Assessors (Lead Assessors), and recommended for Provisional Assessors (“Co Assessors”) conducting Automotive SPICE® 4.0 Assessments
  • Process owners and process managers for development processes
  • Quality managers (also) in development

The training is designed as further training for assessors. A qualification at least as a Provisional Assessor according to 2.5/3.1 is therefore recommended.

If you want to use the seminar purely for your personal further training, e.g. as a process manager (which makes perfect sense!), we recommend basic knowledge of the Automotive SPICE® model in version 2.5 or 3.1 as a prerequisite, as only the new features of version 4.0 are covered here.

 

Technical requirements for participation in online courses

The training takes place as a virtual live course. A browser and stable internet access are required.

The use of a camera is strongly recommended in order to achieve a good quality of intercommunication during the training.

After registration, you will receive an invitation to the training.

Duration and Pricing

The Automotive SPICE® 4.0 – Official Upgrade Training is a one-day seminar (1 x 8 hours).

For registrations up to 6 weeks before the start of training, we grant an early bird discount of 10% on the training price.
